Blessing CEO saved me from suicide – IVD breaks silence

Nigerian car dealer, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, better known as IVD, has made shocking revelations about his late wife, Bimbo, describing her as physically abusive throughout their marriage.

Speaking in a recent episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, IVD alleged that Bimbo often assaulted him, even slapping him at his office without provocation.

“She was very dramatic,” he said. “She would come to my office and give me a dirty slap for doing nothing.”

Bimbo died in October 2022 under controversial circumstances, sparking public outrage and accusations of domestic violence against IVD. The Lagos State government charged him with involuntary manslaughter, and Bimbo’s family also alleged he was responsible for her death.

Defending himself, IVD claimed Bimbo’s family launched a coordinated smear campaign after her passing, falsely accusing him of being HIV-positive and stripping him of his properties and children.

“They took everything from me — the properties, her belongings, and my five kids. I haven’t seen my kids since,” he said.

He credited his current fiancée, Blessing CEO, for supporting him through his darkest days, including when he contemplated suicide. “Blessing was there for me when I was down. I shed tears when she wore her wedding gown, she wore 36 of them, and I cried 36 times,” he shared emotionally.
